2002 - Videoprojektion auf eine Jalousie
Die Videoarbeit "Jalousie und sie" stellt das Gegenstück zu "Jalousie und er" dar. Während der Ausstellung "Face to Face" in der Galerie Gabriele Rivet Köln vom 30. Oktober bis 21. Dezember 2002 wurde sie im Wechsel mit "Jalousie und er" gezeigt. Möglich wäre auch eine zeitgleiche Projektion von beiden Versionen, entweder in zwei Fenstern, oder aber sich gegenüber hängend in einem Raum. Bei einer weißen Jalousie aus Plastik kann die Projektion von beiden Seiten betrachtet werden. Durch Verstellen der Lamellen fällt die Projektion auch auf Wände oder Gegenstände im Raum. Die Geräusche der Jalousie-Bewegungen werden sich im Falle der Doppelprojektion intensivieren. Die Blicke des Mannes hinter der einen Jalousie könnten dann der Frau gegenüber hinter der anderen Jalousie gelten und nicht mehr nur dem Betrachter der Videoarbeit.
Beide Videoprojektionen dauern ca.12 Minuten und geben grob das Leben der Beiden an einem Abend wieder. Sie kommen heim, kleiden sich um, telefonieren, blicken durch die Jalousie, und scheinen wegen einer Verabredung wieder das Haus zu verlassen. Wie bei "Jalousie und er" wurde auch diese Version durch die Lamellen einer schwarzen Jalousie hindurch gedreht. Das Video ist vorwiegend ohne Ton, nur wenn die Frau die Jalousie berührt, hört man das Rascheln oder Quietschen der Jalousie.

2002 - video projection on a venetian blind
The video "Jalousie und sie" is the counterpart to "Jalousie und er" and was alternately shown with "Jalousie und er" during the "Face to Face" exhibition at Galerie Gabriele Rivet Köln (Cologne) from October 30 - December 21, 2002. It is also possible to show both videos simultaneously, either in two windows or across from each other in a room. The projection can be viewed on both sides of the white plastic blind, and depending on how the sluts are adjusted, the projection is also cast on the walls or objects. The sounds of the moving blinds are intensified when both projections are shown at the same time. The man's gaze from behind one blind could be resting on the woman across from him and not only on the viewer.
Each video lasts about 12 minutes and offers a general picture of one evening in the lives of both performers. They come home, change their clothes, talk on the phone, look through the blinds, and then leave home, apparently to go meet someone. As with "Jalousie und er", this version was also filmed through the slats of a black venetian blind. The video has very little sound; only when the woman touches the blind does one hear it rattle or squeak.
