2004 - Videoprojektion auf Sand
Eine Glasvitrine ist bis auf eine Höhe von 40 Zentimeter mit Sand gefüllt. Zwei Arme scheinen darin zu wühlen und immer neue Gegenstände zu Tage zu fördern: ein Handy, eine rosa Badesandalette, eine Armbanduhr, ein Plastikförmchen und andere Gegenstände unserer Zivilisation, unseres Alltags, verloren, versunken, vergraben. Sind es solche Dinge, die von uns übrig bleiben werden, Ausgrabungsstücke von Archäologen im nächsten Jahrtausend?
Die Arbeit war erstmalig im Rahmen der Einzelausstellung "Gastspiel" im Rheinischen LandesMuseum Bonn von Dezember 04 bis Februar 05 zu sehen.

2004 - video projection on sand
A tall glass case is filled with sand 40 centimeters high. Two arms can be seen digging around in the sand, continually unearthing new objects: a cell phone, a pink sandal, a bracelet, a plastic mold, and other objects from modern civilization—from everyday life—which have gone missing, have sunk, have become buried. Are these the things that will be left over from our time, which will be excavated by archaeologists in the next millennium?
The projection was exhibited at the Rheinisches LandesMuseum Bonn from December 04 till February 06 and was part of my solo show "Gastspiel".
